7 reasons why I loved my stay at the .@Sheratonpasadena!
I was recently a guest at the Sheraton Pasadena Hotel in Pasadena (Los Angeles, USA) and totally loved my stay there! For anybody visiting the area and is confused between choosing the right hotel, this is a great place to stay! Here are 7 reasons why I enjoyed my stay there:
1. Starwood preferred Guest
I booked through my SPG (Starwood Preferred Guest) with cash and points and as a preferred guest enjoyed a free room upgrade, free wifi in the room, complimentary continental breakfast and evening snacks. Since it was an SPG room, I had great views of the San Gabriel mountains and could see snow covered peaks on a clear day!
2. Great location of the hotel
This is a great hotel at a great price and located right next to Old Town Pasadena and the Pasadena Convention Center! The Colorado Blvd., one of my favorite places to shop in L.A. is only a few blocks away with all my favorite stores including Eileen Fisher, Lululemon Athletica, Victoria Secret, Jjill, Zara and Patagonia to name a few. I just like walking on this street--it makes me happy and fills me with joy and then to return to a nice, cozy room in the hotel--it really doesn't get better than this!
3. Free Shuttle Service
I took advantage of the free shuttle service of the hotel to go to the Rose Bowl for my morning swim and the Colorado Blvd. for shopping, located only a few blocks away! If you need a ride somewhere close to the hotel and if it is in their radius, the hotel will just drive you there and even pick you up and it is totally free! I really like this complimentary shuttle service, it's so convenient!
4. Nice comfortable room with Starbucks coffee, refrigerator and safe
I liked my room--besides being warm and cozy, it always smelt like coffee (:))! The refrigerator and the safe were very useful and I slept like a baby in the heavenly bed!
4. Nice ambience of the hotel
I always liked to come back to the hotel at the end of the day--the energy was easy-going and lively and I always felt nice there.
6. Swimming Pool and Gym
Fitness is always important to me even when I am traveling which is why I always choose a hotel with a nice fitness center. Sheraton didn't disappoint; the days I didn't go to the Rose Bowl, I could swim in the hotel pool (which was heated!) and work out in the fitness center.
7. Friendly Staff
The day I checked in I was almost taken aback with the friendliness of the Front Desk Staff--it is hard to find hotel staff so nice and friendly and above all so helpful these days even in big hotels, that I was pleasantly surprised! Even the man who brought my luggage to my room and the shuttle service drivers were so nice and friendly. Maybe it's the general vibration of Pasadena--I always found it joyous and friendly! :)
