From Genk to Brussels in my Zara trench!
6th July, 2014, Park Hotel, Nancy, France.
Hope all is good with you. I've had a long but an exciting day! I left the hotel in Genk, Belgium at 5:00 am this morning. When I came down to the front desk, I was a little surprised to see that the taxi-driver was a sweet Dutch lady who didn't speak any English! It was the first time I was being driven by a female taxi-driver in Europe:) The early morning air was a bit chilly so I was thankful for my beautiful #Zara Trench that I had bought in Barcelona last week. The ride to the train-station in Brussels took a little less than an hour and when we finally arrived there, I forgot my phone in the cab! I discovered this only after I had boarded the #Thalys (a high speed train between Brussels and Paris) to Paris Nord. And guess what, I finally did get my phone back! The cab driver returned it to the hotel in Genk where I had stayed. The hotel then got in touch with me and couriered it to me in France! Such wonderful people-I was very touched!
I have lots more to write about but have to go now. You will hear more from me soon!
P.S. : Am attaching some pictures of my ride to the Brussels railway station and my shopping day at Brussels, the same day I arrived in Belgium.
