I love DIY rosegarlands from India!

India is famous for it's infinite variety of garlands and the art of making them. This post is from a visit to a florist shop in India who showed my how to make rose-garlands in DIY 3 simple steps!

What you need: a nice pair of scissors, strong thread, a good long needle, and about 45 rose buds with stems for a picture frame 16" in width and 20" in height. Note: You need to have screws on the upper two corners of the picture frame to hold the two ends of the garland.

1. Separate the rose buds and the leaves from the stems by hand or scissors.

2. Thread the needle and use double threads for keeping the thread nice and strong for the heavy garland.

3. Pass a bunch of leaves, then the rose buds alternatively through the needle till it is the desired length and then secure the ends. (watch the video at the end of the post to see how leaves are added.:))
