Merci beaucoup Fedex
In continuation from yesterday, this post is to deeply thank all the #deliverytruckdrivers (Fedex, UPS etc.) who bring constant joy in our lives (except the credit card bills--I try to practice evenness of mind when those show up:)). Just the sight of a #UPS or a #Fedex truck driver is uplifting. There he is working hard all day in rain and shine just to bring joy to others and fulfill people's dreams! Picture this--you are sitting at home brooding over some past wrong you think a friend has done to you when suddenly the door bell rings and you hear the sound of #boxes getting stacked against the door! You hurriedly open the door just in time to see the #Fedextruckdriver leaving. He turns back and greets you with a big smile, "how are you today? There are boxes for you!" You smile back and you jump with joy! You start picking up the boxes and dragging or pushing those that are too heavy--all of them arrived on the same day...yay....! The first one is the gorgeous .@AnnTaylor dress at 40% off, the deal you've been waiting for all summer! The second one is a third pair of .@Patagonia Serenity Pants (but it's a different color this time that matches the Hallhuber (.@HALLHUBERSHOP) sweater you bought in Germany the year before:)). You spend the evening opening packages and trying clothes--by this time the living room has been turned into a packaging store. Suddenly the world seems right and you want to make up with the person you thought who had hurt you! You love your new dress and you remember the driver who brought sunshine into your life head-on and you send out a blessing to him for showing up at just the right time! Now, isn't that touching--believe me I've been there!
P.S.: You have to stay up late to clean all the mess you created in the living room and the boxes don't fit in the Recycling Garbage Can, but it has been a splendid evening and lifted you up from the humdrum of ordinary daily existence. :)
